The Mushroom Formula was designed with the overall intention to increase vitality, longevity, energy, stamina, and immunity by incorporating a variety of different medicinal mushrooms, as well as goji berries, dates, and spices.

~Medicinal mushrooms grow and have been used in folk practices in many areas of the world including China, Siberia, Mexico and Central America, North America, Egypt, and Greece. Known as plants of immortality they held a revered place in traditional medicine, as well as being viewed as conduits for spiritual healing.

~Turkey tail, chaga, lion's mane, cordyceps, and reshi mushrooms are tonics in that they support many functions and systems of the body. Included in this are immune enhancement, liver and digestion support, inflammation regulation, reduction of mental fatigue, mood improvement, mental relaxation, cognitive and brain health, increase stamina and energy, cardiovadcular supportive, and adaptogenic properties in modulating response to stress.

~Goji berries are native to Asia, and have been used in traditional medicine to nourish the liver and kidneys. In Chinese medicine goji berries were important as a tonic to replenish and strengthen the body's vital energy. They were also used in eye health and believed to improve vision, and protect from degenerative eye diseases. Goji berries also help regulate blood sugar, circulation, and increase immunity.

~Dates were used in ancient Mesopotamia, the Middle East, South Asia, North Africa and Central America. Discovered in the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs, and found in Neolithic and Upper Paleolithic sites, the role of dates in human nutrition and health dates back to 9000-36000 years ago. Dates are known to enhance digestion, regulate blood sugar,  reduce inflammation, and contain antibacterial and antifungal properties.

~Cardamom is native to India and Indonesia and used in traditional culinary and medicine traditions to aid digestion such as gas, bloating, and naseau. Cardamom also reduces inflammation, is antibacterial, improves lung and cardiovascular health, and used for gum disease.

~Clove is native to Indonesia, and was used in folk medicine for digestion, pain relief, and as an aphrodisiac. Cloves are anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Often used in oral health as a remedy for toothaches. They are antimicrobial and antiseptic and used for infections.
