Juniper speaks of resilience. Native to the high deserts of the Western United States, this ancient tree is revered in many indigenous traditions. Juniper is seen spiritually as a gatekeeper, protector, and purifier of mind, body, and spirit. It's smoke is used in smudging ceremonies, and hunters would wear it as a talisman for safety.

Traditionally tea was made of the berries and needles for pain relief, childbirth, urinary tract and kidney support. Additonally juniper is valued for it's ability to lower inflammation, help with respiratory conditions, regulate blood sugar, for it's antimicrobial properties, and as an aid for digestion.

For ritual use. Sit quietly and take a few drops under the tongue. Relax and ask grandmother juniper what areas she can help you with.
