~Self heal is native to Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. It is a sacred folk herb and has been used as a comprehensive tonic. Self heal has anti-inflammatory properties, helps to support the immune system with it's strong antiviral and antibacterial agents, is an internal and external wound healer, a broad spectrum anti-allergic lowering histamine secretion. It regulates blood sugar, supports liver and lymph function, nervous system disregulation, chronic fatique, eye health, and is purported to have been used in traumatic brain injuries or sub-acute neuro-inflammation.

~Astragalus is native to North America and Eastern Asia, and has been used for thousands of years in Chinese Medicine as a powerful tonic. It's main affinity is as a deep immune tonic with immuno-stimulating effects and has strong antiviral actions. Astragalus works in the bone marrow in the production of both white and red blood cells, and is effective for building stamina and resistance to pathogens.

~Elder flower grows in North America, Europe and parts of Asia. It was widely used by the Greeks, Native Americans, and was even discovered in Neolithic sites in Switzerland dating at least 2000 BCE. The flower possess diaphoretic properties which raise the body's temperature to help combat infections and healthy detoxification through the skin. The flower is antiviral, has an affinity with both upper and lower respiratory health issues such as coughs and sore throats, as well as being anti-inflammatory.

~Yarrow is native to Europe, Asia, and North America. Named by the Greeks it was often employed for wounds and to stop bleeding both internally and externally. It is antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, boosts immunity, and reduces inflammation. Additonally it is a pain reliever, increases cellular function, promotes blood flow, aids sleep, and is supportive for both pms and menopausal symptoms.

It was eventually brought to Europe and put into similar use. Echinacea has become one of the most known and used herbs for boosting immunity.
