~ Thyme for thousands of years has had a reputation as a healer and protector. The name Thyme is derived from from the Latin thymus, which can be traced further to the Greek thymós or "spirit", originally meaning "smoke", as It was burned as incense to clear the air of diseases. As Thyme pertains to the gastrointestinal tract, it supports the removal of excess gasses, helps increase peristaltic movement in the stomach, has antispasmodic action, and relieves intestinal cramping and bloating, and is one of the strongest plant antimicrobials.
~Orange peel has been added to this formula as a digestive bitter.
